Must Try: Kimbap Korean Rolls In Seoul

Must Try Kimbap Korean Rolls in Seoul. What is Kimbap? Or you can spelled it as “Gimbap”. Kimbap is a Korean dish made from cooked rice and other ingredients rolled in seaweed and served in bite-size slices. This is one of the must try snack whenever you are in Korea. It is similar to Japan sushi roll but in Korea, the roll is actually bigger in size as compared to those served in Japan and can be mouthful.

How I came about this Kimbap or Gimbap? Back in 2006 or 2007 when I was in Korea for my 1st trip, I never had a chance to try this seaweed roll snacks. At that time, I don’t even know that this snack existed at all. I was recommended to try this snack when I was planning my trip to Korea couple of months ago. And so, I went on the food hunting trip for this snack when I was in Seoul last month. I found this snack being available in one of the 24 hours restaurant that I visited (check out my blog here).

I had mine with chicken and ham in the roll. It has seaweed, rice, ham, chicken meat and top with mayonnaise. I bought a roll back to my hotel and to my discovery, it taste even better with kimchi cup noodles.

This is why I highly recommend you to try this snack whenever you are in Seoul, Korea.
