Craving For AirAsia Nasi Lemak? Since the beginning of Covid19 pandemic, traveling abroad is barred and all air flights are grounded. Due to this AirAsia started to activate their app which today, includes e-hailing rides, food delivery, groceries, etc. And couple of weeks ago, I tried to make an order with their food app.
When I login the app, I noticed that Santan (AirAsia in Pak Nassir’s in flight food) is available at a discount. There are a few nasi lemak choices at the price of only RM6.35 a pack. And during my ordering time, they are running FREE delivery promo plus a limited time promotion offer of RM9 off for RM20 and above single receipt order. With these 2 offers, I ordered 4 packs of Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah with total amounting to RM25.40 before discount (after discount at RM16.40, worked out to be only RM4.10 a pack).
Waiting time for delivery is around 30 to 45mins. And here is how the meal looks like:
Pro: Similar taste of what I had during in flight meals. Fried chicken is delicious.
Con: Very little sambal given. Taste of fridge chicken.
Potion: Medium portion but filling.
