My Favorite Japanese Korean Drama Series

Here is the list of my favorite Japanese Korean drama series. My choice of dramas are usually the comedy or sci-fi ones and depending on my interest, I may sit through the whole episode without skipping parts else I may just skip through episodes. Most of the Japanese dramas series usually runs for about 8 to 10 episodes while Korean dramas are slightly longer at around 16 to 20 episodes.

Here is a list of drama shows that I watched:

  • My Girlfriend Is Gumiho (Korean)
    • Made my laugh.
  • Secret Garden (Korean)
    • Made my laugh.
  • Mr Queen (Korean)
    • Made my laugh out loud. The main character is very funny and jokes really made me laugh out.
  • Doctor X (Japanese) – watched all seasons including the movies
    • Classy and funny. Different story in every episode thus, I’m not bored.
  • The Uncanny Encounter (Korean)
    • To me, oddly weird as the story in a bit of mess.
  • On My Boss! Love Not Included (Japanese)
    • Funny and light heart.
  • Himawari. Kenichi Legend (Japanese)
    • Comedy all the way.
  • Gokusen (Japanese) – watched all seasons including one of the movie.
    • Different story in every episode. Made my laugh and cry (sometimes).
  • Great Teacher Onizuka (Japanese)
    • Oldies yet goodies.
  • Hotel De Luna (Korean)
  • Gokushufudo (Japanese) – quite funny
  • Sweet Home (Korean)
  • Korean Odyssey (Korean)
  • Legal V (Japanese)
  • Mystic Pop-Up Bar (Korean)
  • Good Doctor (Korean and Japanese)
  • Career (Japanese)
  • Watashi No Kaseifu Nagisa-san (Japanese)
  • Mokomi: Kanojo Chotto Hendakedo (Japanese)
  • No Working After Hours (Watashi, Teiji de Kaerimasu) (Japanese)
  • 68-Year-Old New Employee (Japanese movie) – Slow paced movie.
  • Many more others

From the above listing, most are comedy series, sci-fi and some life hack dramas. Light at heart type and funny series is very important to me.
